Lip Filler

Info

Lip filler doesn’t always have to be large and unnatural looking, that look is down to preference.
It can simply:
Enhance Volume & Fullness
Add volume to naturally thin lips or restore volume that can be lost with age.
Improve Lip Shape & Symmetry
We can correct uneven lips and or even adjust shape.
Define
Creates a more sculpted outline, especially around the cupids now.
Customisable Results
The amount and placement of filler can be tailored to your goals—subtle or dramatic.
The filler itself contains hydraulic acid, substance naturally found in the body, which is generally well-tolerated.
You can also gradually build volume over time through multiple sessions.

I offer:

Prior to appointment

Avoid blood-thinning products

For at least 48 hours prior, avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, omega-3 supplements, or anything that can increase bruising or bleeding.

Stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment — hydrated skin allows the filler to settle more evenly.

No active cold sores

If you currently have or feel a cold sore developing, please reschedule your appointment. Filler cannot be administered while one is present.

Avoid dental work or vaccinations

Please avoid dental treatments or vaccinations within 2 weeks before or after your filler appointment to prevent irritation or swelling.

Arrive with clean skin

Come with no makeup or skincare products on or around your lips.

You can take arnica tablets 48 hours prior to minimise bruising. A consent form will also need to be completed prior to your appointment.

Post appointment

Expect swelling & tenderness

Swelling, redness, and slight bruising are completely normal and can last up to 5 days. Applying a cool compress (not ice directly) can help reduce this, arnica cream can help reduce bruising.

Avoid touching or massaging

Do not touch, press, or massage your lips unless advised. Allow the filler to settle naturally.

No makeup for 24 hours

Avoid applying any makeup, lip balm, or skincare products on or around the lips for the first 24 hours to prevent irritation or infection.

Stay away from heat

Avoid saunas, steam rooms, sun beds, hot showers, and intense exercise for 48 hours as heat can worsen swelling.

Avoid alcohol & blood thinners

Refrain from alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen for 24–48 hours post-treatment to reduce bruising.

The full healing period, (when the filler is fully settled) is 2 weeks — this is when any top-ups or adjustments can be discussed.
